Banana Nut Muffins and Paying Bills

By on November 7, 2016

My morning has been spent baking and paying bills over the phone. I called a place earlier to make a payment and it turns out we actually don’t owe anything yet. We can put that under the “SCORE!” column. It’s a small victory for this morning because baking in old muffin tins did not have me in a good mood. The ones in the featured photo did come out nicely and I have IKEA to thank for those cutie pies. I wish IKEA shipping didn’t cost more than the items I purchase. Countless times I have loaded up my IKEA cart and then saw how much shipping was…NOPE. Delete. This weekend we donated another FIVE bags of clothes and shoes. Ugh, it killed me to have to let go of all those baby clothes. I remember what she looked like wearing each one. 🙁 Now some little dumpling will look super cute for their mamas. Now I still have about three more bags sitting at the top of the stairs waiting for me to toss them in the trunk of my car. There are at least 7 card board boxes of items I need to go through in the attic. My goodness, I don’t think I will ever get through everything before Christmas. A’s room looks nice and clean because I went through her stuffed animals and donated a whole trash bag full. Whatever charity these items end up, they’ll be thinking someone must have gutted their whole house. Essentially that is what I am trying to accomplish. I want the bare minimum in this house. NO ONE NEEDS A TELEVISION IN EVERY ROOM! Just banana nut muffins. 😉
